The expression of life (phenotype) results from the interaction between genotype, the environmental conditions of the environments in which a person develops, and each person's lifestyle, with physical and mental health being the primary determinant. Currently, epigenetics allows for early detection of changes in phenotype, before they translate into disease. The expression of a healthy life requires positive thinking, emotional intelligence, and the development of adaptability and resilience in the face of rapid changes in environmental and occupational settings, which put human health at risk. Thus, in the face of the threat of climate catastrophe, the United Nations 2030 Agenda establishes the objective: "Adopt Urgent Measures to Combat Climate Change and Its Effects. On the other hand, situations of constant change, volatility, and uncertainty persist, generated by geographical, political, economic, social, and environmental conditions that affect productive organizations. The BANI environment proposes a model for understanding profound and systemic change, focusing on how the environment affects people and organizations. In this context, occupational health professionals must work in an interdisciplinary and collaborative manner, implementing management systems to maintain a safe and healthy work environment, without compromising environmental protection, as well as promoting the development of workers' resilience and adaptability to positively address changes in work environments.
