Abstract

The present research work was developed with the purpose of designing a prototype capable of measuring the water level of a tank, which can store the information of each reading, using appropriate hardware, it must be registered in a database, to provide a monitoring service regarding the water supply of the telecommunications node. The monitoring system is made up of a tank in charge of storing the water. Inside the tank, there is a level sensor, which is responsible for measuring the required signal. In addition, this sensor sends the information through a data transmission device to the main headquarters for monitoring the water level. Its function is to record the level of water in the tank and the flow in the pipe where the water circulates inside the tank as it increases or decreases. Within the investigation, considerable emphasis was placed on the feasibility study from the development of the prototype.
