Abstract

The purpose of this study is to "Analyze the Importance of Andragogy as an Alternative for the University Inclusion of Students with Disabilities", at the Universidad Nacional Experimental Simón Rodríguez, Núcleo El Vigía. It is a documentary study of bibliographic design, the review of documents facilitated the interpretation and presentation of the information required to support that this learning model is a reference to inclusion in a society in constant change. On the findings found it is concluded that Andragogy is important in University Education for being an educational discipline directed to the adult participant, likewise it is determined that it is an alternative, because it applies learning methods and techniques under the principles of respect and solidarity, thus facilitating the inclusion of students with disabilities for their professional training. Its andragogic principles favor the participation of these students, highlighting that the only limitation is the participant's own characteristics, which will determine if he/she has the skills and abilities to pursue university studies
