Abstract

Venezuelan University Education Institutions (IEU) must be prepared to face the demands of an increasingly demanding society. Therefore, IEUs need to see their future more clearly, in a world surrounded by uncertainty. In this sense, Foresight emerges as a discipline that allows identifying possible future scenarios, selecting the desirable scenario and setting a horizon that guides the organization in achieving its goals. In this way, the IEUs aim to work collectively to fight for the future they want and thus understand that they can change the future. However, there is a lack of knowledge about the topic and the potential it offers for the future of organizations. Therefore, the objective of this research was to design a strategy to raise awareness about the benefits of Strategic Prospective aimed at the community of the José Antonio Páez University (UJAP), in order to pave the way for its future incorporation into development plans. of the UJAP and be consistent with a collective vision of the future. In this way, it is necessary to generate a process of change in the way of thinking and acting of the organization, supported by a shared vision and team learning, what Senge calls, an intelligent organization in which all its members collaborate in create the expected results. The research was oriented in the feasible project modality.
