ECOTECHNOLOGY AS A BASIS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY IN METAL-MECHANICAL PROCESSES
Keywords:
Ecotechnology, Sustainability, Metalworking Process, EnvironmentAbstract
In this essay, the concepts that support the study of Ecotechnology and Sustainability were identified and developed. This will allow obtaining a strategic vision, in order to establish constructs that contribute to the theoretical-practical training of metalworking processes. That is why it is necessary to reveal these concepts which will allow the principle of Ecotechnology and Sustainability to be deployed through practical models; generating an environmental contribution through scientific knowledge in metalworking processes. In this way, it seeks to encourage the main actors: Engineers, Technologists in Mechanics, Metallurgy, Metalworking Operators, to improve working conditions, providing the necessary knowledge so that the environment is strengthened in the long term. Its development seeks to understand how these processes can produce negative effects during their evolution; generating irreversible damage to the surrounding environment. In this sense, Ecotechnology plays a very important role as a generator of social and environmental change that allows people to know, raise awareness, develop their skills and values in a different way when relating to the environment, achieving sustainable development in technological matters. Consequently, it is important to investigate the safest working methods in metalworking processes in order to reveal the questions that intervene during their execution and their implications for nature, thus strengthening scientific knowledge in educational and environmental matters.
