TO REVEAL THE GOALS AND EDUCATIONAL ROLES IN PRESENT-DAY VENEZUELA IN LIGHT OF THE SOCIO-POLITICAL SITUATION

Education has always been influenced by historical moments, and its models have been framed in the political guidelines of each society, leading the evolution of each individual as a mobilizing axis of their own economy and that of their environment. Thus, the performance of each individual within their society is conditioned by the political and economic aspects that make up their environment of social and productive performance. Similarly, the relationship of education with all productive sectors of a country is an irrefutable issue. Education is a source both for companies and for the state to capture the main input they can have, such as human capital. However, the levels of influence vary irremediably according to political, social and economic circumstances. In this brief essay the positions on this irrefutable relationship are exposed and some of the ways in which politics and economics are intertwined in Education. As conclusions, the personal reflections made regarding the role of education, its functions in the Venezuelan state and attention to the goals and needs of our country are presented.
