Education is fundamental in maintaining order and social peace; The value of educating lies in the development of intellectual and moral faculties, so the purpose of this work was to design a program of training in values for the socio-community responsibility of the student of the José Antonio Páez University as a mechanism for social cohesion, Based on the methodology of Service Learning, the Taxonomy of Affective Domain and the postulates of Education in Values. For this, a field investigation was carried out in feasible project modality, in which a sample of thirty students of the sixth semester of Law of the subject of Values and Service to the Community was selected, by means of an intentional sample to those who were applied the Technique survey using a questionnaire composed of fifteen closed questions, whose results allowed to establish the undeniable direct link between training in values and citizen behavior, just as it stands out that to a high degree they feel a willingness to receive training in values. Likewise, it was evidenced that there is a high level of apathy and demotivation to participate in activities linked to the exercise of social responsibility, motivated by the absence of a true training in citizen values and community partner, that can receive students during their professional training, Generating the relevant conclusions and recommendations. The proposal represents the pillar that will allow the student to develop their knowledge and skills, promote a "solidarity education" based on pro-social attitudes.
