Abstract

As part of the educational policies aimed at promoting inclusion processes, since 2002 the José Antonio Páez University (UJAP) has been intensively researching Distance Education (EaD), especially in blended learning, as a model of Comprehensive training in the areas of undergraduate, postgraduate, introductory course and extension. Therefore, the purpose of the research is to systematize the experience of the UJAP in EaD, creating a space for reflection of permanent learning. The methodology used was participatory action research, framed in five (5) phases: a. Diagnosis; b. Action planning; c. Taking actions; d. Assessment; and, e. Learning specification. As a result, the UJAP has adopted a pedagogical model based on significant social constructivism and has focused on gradually increasing the number of subjects and courses in blended learning.
