Abstract

In a globalized world full of technological change, a set of knowledge emerges influenced by the use of interactive platforms and the creation of networks, which generates changing educational scenarios and other ways of sharing information, leaving aside spirituality and training in values. With the increase in these virtual scenarios for communication, some deficiencies in teaching work are evident, sometimes as a result of poor facilitation skills based on interactive platforms. Among the main causes are insecurity regarding the availability of technology, in addition to economic limitations, failures of essential services and connections, among others. The purpose of this article is to understand, from educational praxis, the new teaching scenarios framed in the context of Social Sciences. The aspects to be addressed are related to the teaching role in the educational context in a digital society lacking in the formation of the self and full of virtuality. Documentary research was carried out and bibliographic review was used as a technique. The thematic orientation revolves around answering the questions on how to approach the comprehensive training of the student in the technological era from educational praxis. In the tour it is concluded that the formation of an integral citizen requires developing interiority, because this contributes to the development of an autonomous human dimension.
