THE USE OF ICT AS AN AUTONOMOUS LEARNING STRATEGY FOR THE EXERCISE OF COMMUNITY SERVICE. A MEDIATED EXPERIENCE

The UJAP, complying with the provisions of the Organic Law of Community Service for Higher Education Students, has experimentally implemented a blended course, designed by the author, for the training of its academic staff called Community Tutors. This course has as its goal the competent performance of the participant in the design and execution of community service projects supported by the use of ICT as a tool to enable learning, which arise from a gradual transfer of control in the teaching process. through the use of online mediation strategies, such as: tasks, expectation and collaborative forums that allowed the participant to reflect on the importance of what they learned, to achieve the consolidation of knowledge, which is known as autonomous learning, which is It is partially given as the online academic activities are developed, generating a metacognitive process that was reflected in the academic products presented in the virtual classrooms. With the above, the links of a large chain represented in a community service project aimed at generating groups that focus on solving real problems and felt by the communities thanks to the use of ICTs, thus promoting a interactive process with communities.
