Currently, great technological advances have been developed in the world, which in turn allow the discovery of new technologies, which make it easier for human beings to carry out their daily functions. However, despite these advances, they still remain a big problem for society. two scourges that are commonly manifested on a daily basis, such as violence and drug consumption in children and adolescents, causing a high level of family breakdown. In this sense, the American continent, due to the level of poverty, is no stranger. to this reality since it presents high rates of violence and drug consumption in children and adolescents. In Venezuela for the year 2009, the population has reached 28 million inhabitants, of which 50.2% are men and 49.8% women. Children and adolescents represent 36% of the total population, which indicates that the country continues to maintain a predominantly young structure and achievements have been made regarding the situation of children and adolescents. However, there are several challenges that still lie ahead, since urban violence is reflected in the increase in the homicide rate. In 2007, 5,379 children and adolescents suffered a violent death and a third of that total was due to homicide.
