DIDACTICS OF THE MICROANALYSIS OF MODULE OF THE DIPLOMA IN FORENSIC SCIENCES AND CRIMINOLOGY OF THE UNIVERSIDAD JOSÉ ANTONIO PÁEZ.

Microanalysis is the practical application of science such as physics, chemistry and biology to solve an offense; Thanks to them the experts can identify and quantify any substance present in the crime scene in the victim and / or perpetrator. Microanalysis module of the Diploma in Forensic Science and Criminology of the University Jose Antonio Páez, aims to teach the techniques and methods to be used in forensic laboratories for the determination of an offense, by a didactic proposal with which to understand scientific phenomena that occur in forensic cases. The proposal encompassed group activities to resolve events using photographs and videos, ending with a practical activity and solution of a forensic case raised. It was found that students improved vocabulary, acquired practical skills in analyzing biological samples (blood and semen), following national and international protocols. The analysis and collaborative group activities encouraged participation and argumentative discussion of each case presented. The classroom was a motivator to be transformed into a crime scene and crime lab environment. It was possible to perceive that the practical activities carried out using reagents, equipment and tools for real laboratories aroused the interest of students, was an innovative contribution to many of the students being the first time they had the opportunity to analyze a biological sample (blood and semen).
