BLENDED LEARNING ASSESSMENT MODEL LEARNER-CENTERED OF ON LINE COURSES

In this work is presented a model of assessment learner-centered of on line courses, who bimodality combines the advantages of the traditional perspective with those of the on line courses, according to the curricular model of the University Jose Antonio Páez, being transferable to the actual courses and other educative levels. The three dimensions considered, Design, Grading and Ethics, were defined taking into account the opinion from professionals who have attended or designed on line courses and teachers or learner of actual graduate degree. Consequently, one sets out to center the assessment in the continuous improvement of the learner according to the level of integral professional performance required by the today society, which requires to assessment the learning, the course and the assessment in itself, to verify the correspondence between the objectives of the course, the instruccional practice, the expectations of the student and the plans of the institution. Given the practical difficulty in integrating all the elements identified in a single subject, it is recommended to include them in the curriculum and simultaneously to make the pursuit and control of the fulfillment of the established thing, by means of a designed Academic Unit for such aim, that it guarantees the continuous feedback of the student, the professor, the course, the programs and the own institution in order to cause the consolidation and permanent update of the curricula according to the sociocultural demands.
