METAPHORICAL AND ICONOGRAPHIC APPROACHES: CUSTOMIZING APPLICATION IN VIRTUAL LEARNING SPACES

The growing interest in distance education, leading to the creation of personal learning environments, to meet the needs of isolation care, supervision, and promoting participation. Likewise, the diversity of ways of learning requires reflection on the forms of teacher intervention, and within that looms large design spaces so as to achieve an attractive environment for students. In order to disseminate experiences in a blended tutorial, deals with the phenomenological study addresses with participant observation, based population cadets career computer education at the University José Antonio Páez, in courses Elearning technological developments and projects. For the design of the classroom is considered the integration with social networks, and the model is applied PACIE and iconographic metaphor for the design of each of the resources and activities in the virtual classroom approach. Also the quality of the responses is analyzed, reactions to feedback and understanding of content. From the results the effects of a friendly, attractive design, and the level of influence on the learner interpret the increased involvement is detected, and the number of interactions within the learning spaces. An approximation of the basis for customization is generated with an instructional model for teaching preponderance, which routes the successful experience in distance education
