The application of ICT in education has made all education more motivating and attractive, yet his skill full use of the so-called "digital natives" places teachers and institutions face the challenge of technological advances, incorporating satisfactorily and a conscious and planned the same as strategies. Among these advances is social networks, of which much has been opined risks, however you should consider that grow to reach for the dissemination of materials. This impacts what motivates this research, in order to assess the incidence of the use of social networking in education, and the methodological approach of experimental work was carried out the following steps :a) Identification of current trends the use of social networks, b) Determination of effectiveness factors, c) Implementation of strategic plan based on technological resources that include an educational social network to support the teaching process, and d) Estimation of the effects of the implementation of the social network in the educational process. It did reaffirm that the planned use of an educational social network interaction benefits, more so in blended modalities, whose effects emphasizes the active construction of knowledge open and spontaneous discussion. Intervention is required in the educational social network supported teaching materials and resources in a virtual classroom for teaching activities planned channel.
