Abstract

The traditional paradigm in science teaching is no longer useful to approach the phenomena that occupy it. Therefore, the teaching process must be resignified to capture the attention and understanding of the student around strategic approaches focused on their learning. Based on this idea, in this article, the use of elements from Ausubel's Significant Learning theory and Vergnaud's Conceptual Fields are presented as a didactic option with the purpose of organizing, from an interdisciplinary approach, the teaching of mathematics and physics stimulating the search and analysis of common conceptual fields in the resolution of complex problems for the construction of relevant and significant student-centered learning. Methodologically, the research was of a documentary type at a descriptive level. As a result, from the principle of interdependence between mathematics and physics, the analysis of concepts in the subject of Projectile Launching of the Physics I curricular unit of the National Training Program in Industrial Materials of the Territorial Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPT Valencia) supported by the specialized software Atlas.ti
