QUALITATIVE RESEARCH: A LOOK FROM SOCIAL SCIENCES

Qualitative research revolves around the emerging, holist that aims to give a sense of understanding to the intersubjectivities of the human. The intention of the article was to reflect on qualitative research, from the perspective of the Social Sciences. The work focuses on: a) qualitative research, b) importance, contributions and methods for the development of the social sciences. Methodologically, it is framed in a study of documentary court, it is based on the interpretative paradigm, assumes the hermeneutic method which consisted in the heuristic arching of sources relevant to the subject; employs the documentary review technique. Finally, some reflections that emerge from the work done are incorporated: a) the recovery of subjectivity as a space for the construction of human life, b) vindication of daily life as a basic scenario for understanding reality (c) intersubjectivity and consensus, as vehicles for access to valid knowledge of human reality. In sum, qualitative research is conceived as a word that refers to approaches and orientations, by its nature it is considered complex that has contributed to the Social Sciences through methodological diversity; it integrates a range of perspectives, methods, techniques to understand and know the realities that shape the knowledge of the human, enabling the study of social reality from different perspectives.
