Abstract

The incorporation of new learning environments for distance education is becoming increasingly important. However, there is still debate about the possibilities of stimulating and approaching the individual given the lack of physical contact between the participants. The scenarios in 3D networks provide alternatives based on their properties: corporeality, interaction and explicit presence. This exploratory research has the purpose of formulating strategies to motivate and accompany the student in the distance with the use of 3D networks. Among the proposals are described how to encourage collaborative work with 3D debates, and incorporate them as distance learning strategies. It is concluded about the importance of validating the change in the concept of presence with the application of the proposed strategies, which promote collective learning, the development of social skills, thus achieving a more affable and inclusive distance education.
