This work has as main objective the design of educational software for digital animation techniques in three dimensions, aimed at students of Higher Education. Its methodology is based on the type of project feasible, with a descriptive design. The study population consisted of a sample for students in the last 4 semesters of career education at the University Computer José Antonio Páez, comprising 15 subjects. As data collection instrument was a survey of closed-ended, which was validated by 3 experts. To conclude the interpretation of data, we found that the failure to have issues related to digital 3D animation is seen as a weakness in the area of graphic design. Equally clearly it shows a willingness to receive this type of teaching, accepting educational software as a strategy for this work. The proposal was developed following the methodology proposed by Alvaro Galvis, using the software Macromedia Flash 8 in combination with other applications, making it possible to integrate various multimedia elements to the structure of teaching and learning software, which was marked by theories such as constructivism and meaningful learning. In it, taking the user goes from the simplest to the most complex, so that the foundations of learning are strong enough so that the user is able to make their own 3D designs
