The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) applied in University Education imply new requirements in the teaching practice. This is how this research is based on a situational diagnosis on the use of technological didactic strategies by Postgraduate teachers from UNEFA, Núcleo-Caracas, who manage subjects in the Master's Degree in Higher Education and Educational Technology, in order to generate didactic strategies supported by ICT, as a tool to support the university educational process. This inquiry is based on a non-experimental design, under the quantitative approach and as an applied research, whose population was 309 teachers, selecting an intentional sample of 25 teachers; As information collection and analysis strategies, a questionnaire was applied using the survey technique; the data were tabulated obtaining the frequency, analyzed and represented in pie charts, as the first phase of the study. Then from the results, which reflected that Postgraduate teachers do not use ICT as teaching tools in the educational field, due to lack of training in the educational use of ICT and availability of adequate technological infrastructure, determined through various indicators and technological dimensions proposed by Cabero (2005) and Gros and Silva (2005), this represents the analysis stage. Based on this, it was proposed the use of technological didactic strategies and their rationale, from the conceptualization of ICT, the teaching action, the articulation of ICT as a didactic tool of support in the educational process.
