The Management of Distance higher education in Venezuela: A vision for transformation

In this research product, a description of management in education is made under the distance modality in Venezuelan university, taking into consideration factors such as the management of educational policies, educational environment and theories of distance education to give foundation to the cognitive construct. This is a descriptive research, with a non-experimental design of the transectional type, based on documentary research. During the investigation, unprecedented situations are handled, such as the post-pandemic context, and a characterization of this situation with references in Latin Americans country, which makes it a reference point for future investigative work. As a result, the approach of the traits of the student and the facilitator in the distance educational modality and the theoretical and practical conception of the essential elements for the management of distance education are obtained.
