The exercise of modern management demands a permanent observance of the technological elements that make up the organization, in this sense, globalization has forced productive factors to understand that the only way to remain competitive in the markets is by making efficient use of the information and this is only possible with the support of technology, in this way, it is possible to clear the questions that the strategic levels of the organizations experience and that make it possible to define the strategies that will keep them active in the dynamics of the market. In this regard, this article aims to emphasize the importance for any organization to maintain the monitoring of internal and external variables that have an impact on their processes. In this regard, the study is based on a documentary research of a descriptive level. In this context, an analysis is made based on professional experience, confirming the contributions of theorists who address the issue and its influence on organizations as a relevant element to establish differences with competitors. This is how the researcher concludes that every organization must pay attention to the technological variables that affect its processes to drive continuous improvements, in the second instance, technological surveillance leads to the investment in technology is really justified and aligned with the goals of the organization , and finally, modern management must assume the challenge of making their organizations truly intelligent structures and Technological Surveillance is fundamental for this.
